Architecture and Technology Alignment:
Develop and maintain the technical architecture for enterprise systems within a utility organization.
Create detailed design documents and architecture blueprints that address regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Recommend technology investments and upgrades to enhance business performance.
Develop and maintain the technical architecture for enterprise systems.
Ensure the architecture aligns with business goals and IT strategy.
Create detailed design documents and architecture blueprints.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work with senior leadership to ensure strategic initiatives are prioritized and resourced effectively
Provide technical guidance and support to development teams.
Collaborate with other members of the Enterprise Architecture team to ensure cohesive and integrated solutions.
Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Lead the adoption of new technologies and best practices within the organization.
Strategic Planning:
Identify areas for improvement in existing systems and propose innovative solutions to enhance utility operations and efficiency.
Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks and models that align with and support the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
Involved in the development of strategic plans and roadmaps that align with the organization's long-term vision and goals.
Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends, collaborate with the Business Architect to identify potential impacts to the business and recommend appropriate actions.
Governance and Compliance:
Ensure that all technical solutions comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Establish and enforce IT standards and procedures.
Oversee the implementation of IT projects, ensuring they adhere to the architectural guidelines.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with business processes and technology implementations.
Develop risk management strategies and contingency plans to address potential issue and challenges.
